Astronergy/Chint Solar announced that it won a new contract to provide EPC services to the 165MW（DC） solar projects in Egypt. Astronergy will undertake the technology, design, engineering, procurement and construction work for the whole projects.
NERA initiated the FIT program in 2014 to promote the implementation of solar power plants. The 165MW projects consist of 3 minor ones which are located in the northern area 40KM to Aswan. All the electricity generated by the projects will be acquired by EETC, the national utility company of Egypt.
2014年12月埃及新能源和可再生能源局（NERA）启动了国家FIT，旨在推动埃及的光伏电站项目建设。本次的165MW项目由三个电站群组成，位于埃及阿斯旺北部40KM处的地区，项目购电方是埃及国家电力公司EETC，项目接入点，配电网，变电站均由国家统一建设，由各个开发商通过合同分摊，土地为沙漠区域，国家统一划拨。
